PRP & PRFM Hair and Skin Treatment

Rejuvenate Your Hair & Skin With PRP/PRFM Treatments

To start off, both PRP and PRFM are injections into the skin derived from your own blood. They use growth factors from platelets enriched in your serum to improve collagen production and help the skin look more youthful.

So why decide between the two? Both work to rejuvenate and thicken the skin tissue. PRP is a great option for hair restoration and a starting point for treating specific areas. PRFM is great for overall facial rejuvenation 6x more growth factors for a more advanced treatment. Whichever treatment you decide upon, The Face Lab's skilled nurses will guide you through the process and help you to make an informed decision prior to starting any procedure.

Our Treatments

For people looking to reverse signs of aging and repair facial skin damage, PRP and Platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) treatments may be a great option. Both procedures make use of the patient's own cellular makeup to stimulate the body's natural healing process without any artificial substances or chemicals. Whether used as a standalone treatment or as part of an overall rejuvenation plan, these two options offer minimal downtime that produces lasting results.

With ongoing research, our PRP facial injection treatments help keep people looking and feeling their best with healthy and vibrant skin. For more information on pricing, please see our Treatment Menu.

  • PRP Hair Restoration Treatment

PRP is an effective, non-surgical treatment for managing male and female pattern hair loss as well as other conditions such as telogen effluvium, alopecia areata, CCCA, and traction alopecia. It can also be a good alternative to traditional treatments and medications.

It works by improving blood flow to the scalp and releasing growth factors that can help stimulate hair follicles. Studies have shown it can improve hair count, thickness and density with 3-6 treatments spaced around 4 weeks apart for best results. Before beginning treatment, it is recommended to consult your primary care provider who can help determine any underlying causes of hair loss.

  • PRP Facial Injections

Do you want to give your skin a boost and look rejuvenated? Try our Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) Facial, also known as the “vampire facial”. This revolutionary treatment uses your own body’s autologous blood plasma to repair and stimulate collagen healing in your skin. Your blood gets drawn into a PRP tube and then processed through a centrifuge to separate the platelets and plasma. Platelet-rich plasma can then be used on your face, neck and décolletage area to help reduce many common skin concerns.

Platelet-rich fibrin matrix is a newer variation of Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy (PRP). It is a natural gel-like substance derived from your own blood that includes prolonged release of growth factors to help stimulate collagen production. The platelet-rich fibrin contains a higher concentration of platelets, white blood cells, and growth factors which form the scaffolding to add volume and provide stem cells to the injection area - resulting in temporary volumization and long-term thickening of skin. Can be used as an alternative or adjunct to dermal filler treatment.
